UK Sport confirms investment in basketball, disabled fencing, women's beach volleyball

UK Sport confirms that basketball, women's volleyball and disabled fencing will get revised investments for 2014-17 if they fulfil performance goals this year.

The UK Sport Board has confirmed revised investments in British Basketball, the British Disabled Fencing Association and the British Volleyball Federation (women's beach programme).

Basketball has the biggest gain, moving from no funding whatsoever to over £7m after an appeal that was upheld earlier this year.

The funding will only be released for 2014-17 if there is a fulfilment of strict performance criteria in the next year.
