Real Madrid are reportedly prepared to sell as many as six players during the January transfer window.

Real Madrid are reportedly open to selling as many as six players during the January transfer window.

Los Blancos have enjoyed a solid start to the campaign, sitting in second position in the La Liga standings just one point behind surprise leaders Real Sociedad.

However, at a time when the club continue to be linked with Kylian Mbappe and Erling Braut Haaland, president Florentino Perez must reduce the club's wage bill over the coming months.

According to AS, Real are prepared to part ways with several big earners in January, including the likes of Isco and Gareth Bale.

Both playmakers, as well as defender Marcelo, are all due to depart the Bernabeu on a free transfer in the summer if they do not leave in January.

The report says that Jesus Vallejo and Luka Jovic, both having made no starts in La Liga this season, are also free to leave if a suitable offer is made.

Eden Hazard allegedly features on the list of potential exits, but it is unclear whether the Belgium international would be prepared to take on a new challenge at the turn of the year.
