One of the greatest servants in Real Madrid's illustrious history, Iker Casillas joined the club as a nine-year-old in 1990 and eventually left to join Porto 25 years later.

Casillas's time in the first team spanned the original Galactico era right through to the Cristiano Ronaldo era, and he was a constant presence between the sticks until eventually falling out of favour under Jose Mourinho.

The now-37-year-old turned out 725 times for Madrid in total, placing him second behind only Raul in the all-time list of appearance-makers for the club, while at the time of writing he holds the Spanish national team record with 167 caps for his country.

Casillas won 18 trophies with Real Madrid, including five La Liga titles and three Champions Leagues, lifting many of those as captain having been given the armband after the departure of Raul.
