Romelu Lukaku 'not mobile enough for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer'

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reportedly happy to let Romelu Lukaku join Inter Milan this summer due to concerns over his mobility.

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reportedly happy to let Romelu Lukaku leave the club this summer due to concerns over whether the striker is mobile enough for his style of play.

Lukaku fell out of favour upon Solskjaer's arrival at Old Trafford in December, with the Norwegian quickly installing Marcus Rashford as his number one striker.

The Belgian's future has been the subject of much speculation as a result, and Inter Milan are understood to be interested in taking him to San Siro this summer.

Lukaku has done little to silence the rumours, proclaiming new Inter boss Antonio Conte as the "best manager in the world" and expressing his desire to play in Italy amid other clear hints that his United career could be over.

The Mirror reports that the reason behind Solskjaer's decision to use Rashford over Lukaku is the former's superior mobility and pace, particularly following the criticism of Jose Mourinho's time in charge of the club.

Twenty-six-year-old Lukaku has scored 42 goals in 96 games for United but netted in just three of his most recent 20 outings for the club last season.
