Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers could reportedly replace Pep Guardiola as head coach of Manchester City this summer.

Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers could reportedly replace Pep Guardiola at Manchester City should the Spaniard decide to leave the Etihad Stadium at the end of the season.

As it stands, the Citizens will be banned from the Champions League for the next two seasons, leading to suggestions that Guardiola could walk away from the club this summer.

Mauricio Pochettino is thought to be under consideration by the Premier League champions, but according to The Telegraph, Rodgers is also a target for the Manchester giants.

The 47-year-old has won 24 of his 44 matches in charge of Leicester since leaving his position with Celtic to take control of the Foxes 12 months ago.

The 2015-16 Premier League champions are currently third in the table, nine points clear of fourth-placed Chelsea as they look to secure a return to the Champions League.

Man City will face West Ham United and Leicester in their next two league matches before visiting Real Madrid for the first leg of their last-16 Champions League clash on February 26.
