Liverpool want Raphael Varane if they allow Sadio Mane to join Real Madrid?

Liverpool will reportedly demand the signing of Raphael Varane if they give the green light for Sadio Mane to join Real Madrid.

Liverpool have reportedly decided that they will only allow Sadio Mane to join Real Madrid if they are able to sign Raphael Varane.

Mane has been linked with a summer switch to Real in recent weeks, despite the Senegal international having only recently penned a new contract at Anfield.

However, according to reports in Spain, Liverpool have made it clear that they will only entertain a sale if they can secure the signature of Varane.

The Merseyside giants are likely to be in the market for a new centre-back ahead of the next campaign, and reports have suggested that Real may opt to cash in on Varane.

Both players arguably command a similar value in the transfer market, leaving Liverpool in a strong position regarding the future of in-form Mane.
