Arsenal may reportedly target the signing of Real Sociedad forward Alexander Isak if Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang departs the Emirates Stadium in the near future.

Arsenal may reportedly be prepared to launch a bid for Real Sociedad forward Alexander Isak at some point in the future.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang currently remains as Arsenal's frontline striker, despite his inconsistent form over the past 12 months.

However, with less than two years left on his contract, the Gunners must start to contemplate a replacement for the 32-year-old.

Football.london suggests that Arsenal could look to sign Isak with the Sweden international continuing to attract new admirers.

While he has netted just one goal in all competitions this season, the 21-year-old scored 17 times in La Liga during 2020-21.

A potential stumbling block is Sociedad extending Isak's contract until 2026 earlier this year.
