Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will reportedly be sacked if the club fail to win the Europa League.

Arsene Wenger reportedly needs to guide Arsenal to Europa League glory in order to keep his job as manager.

The Frenchman is under renewed pressure from fans and pundits alike following a difficult week for the North London outfit.

The manner of the team's EFL Cup final defeat to Manchester City attracted criticism, and since then they have suffered back-to-back losses in the Premier League.

Wenger signed a fresh two-year contract at the end of last season, and according to reports, the Arsenal boss, who has been in charge of the club for the past two decades, is refusing to step down.

According to the Daily Mail, the Gunners board will take action and sack the 68-year-old if the team do not win the Europa League and fail to secure Champions League football for next season.

As it stands, Arsenal will miss out on the top four as they are 13 points adrift in sixth place, which means the secondary European tournament could be their only chance of qualifying for the elite competition.
