TV presenter Helen Skelton is reportedly in line to take part in Celebs Go Dating following the split from her husband last year.

Countryfile presenter Helen Skelton is reportedly in line to take part in the next series of E4's matchmaking format Celebs Go Dating.

The 39-year-old broke up with her husband of eight years, rugby league player Richie Myler, a year ago - shortly after giving birth to their third child, and now he is expecting another child with his new girlfriend.

Last autumn Skelton took part in Strictly Come Dancing and was one of the most popular contestants, reaching the final with her partner Gorka Marquez.

"Helen has already proved she is great on TV and is really interesting to watch," a Celebs Go Dating source told The Sun.

"The public really felt for her after her split and bosses think everyone would love to see her dating journey.

"They are willing to offer her big bucks to take part, but it looks like Helen really isn't interested in sharing that part of her life. It would take a lot to change her mind."

Vanessa Feltz - recently single after splitting from her long-term partner - is also reportedly on the producers' wishlist for the new series, which will air on E4 towards the end of the year.
