Filming on the new celebrity series of Ex On The Beach in Colombia is reportedly delayed again due to coronavirus.

Filming on the new celebrity series of Ex On The Beach has reportedly been postponed again due to coronavirus.

The MTV dating show was due to be filmed in Colombia, South America in January, with celebrities including Jermaine Pennant, Georgia Steel and Bianca Gascoigne having signed up to take part.

The UK's coronavirus lockdown saw production pushed back to this month, but now travel to Colombia is off the cards after the government placed the country on its 'red list' of travel destinations.

"The stars who are signed up to Ex On The Beach should be filming in Colombia right now. These delays are making the show a huge headache but there is nothing anyone can do," a source told The Sun.

"The show bosses are now trying to work out where they can film the series.

"There are a handful of countries on the green list that could be perfect for filming Ex On The Beach so arrangements are being made now. Having to push the show back repeatedly has been tough for everyone.

"People working on the show and the stars are having to keep their diaries open and it's obviously a massive nightmare. Everyone is hopeful that they can get a location booked and get filming rolling."

Possible sun-drenched locations for the show on the government's green list include Portugal and Gibraltar.
