Mark Wright pays tribute to "gentleman" Mick Norcross

Mark Wright pays tribute following the sudden death of The Only Way Is Essex's Mick Norcross.

Mark Wright has paid tribute to former The Only Way Is Essex co-star Mick Norcross following his death at the age of 57.

The businessman - father of Kirk Norcross - was discovered at his home on Thursday afternoon, with police saying that there were no suspicious circumstances involved.

"I knew Mick quite well. I wasn't very close to him, so I'm not going to spend too long talking about it," Wright said during an appearance on Friday morning's Lorraine.

"I just want to send my condolences and my love to the family. Kirk obviously must be just broken-hearted.

"What I did know of Mick, he was such a gentleman, such a nice guy. He was always so welcoming at his club.

"It's so sad. If you know anyone out there today I think the message is 'just talk'.

"If you're feeling down, just talk to a friend, talk to a family member. 'Cause we hear this too often now.

"That's what these kind of things and situations that hit me most, they hit hardest. You think that maybe somebody could have spoken."

Norcross's exact cause of death has yet to be disclosed.
