Bobby Norris confirms TOWIE filming to resume

The Only Way Is Essex's Bobby Norris reveals that the show will resume filming within a few weeks.

The Only Way Is Essex star Bobby Norris has confirmed that the show will resume filming in a few weeks' time.

The new series of the ITVBe reality show had been due to be filmed in Tenerife in March but the coronavirus pandemic led to it being postponed indefinitely.

A relaxation of social distancing guidelines means that it is now safe for production to restart, however, with a bumper new series now expected to lead into the 10th anniversary celebrations in October.

"We had a message recently to say that the team have been working around the clock to kind of logistically figure out how we can do it safely following the government's guidelines," Norris told FUBAR Radio.

"I'm so excited to get back. It's actually going to feel quite weird. It's been such a massive part of my life for nine years, so the three and a half, four months during lockdown was weird not having them.

"But this has kind of become the new normal, this life, so I kinda think it's gonna be a little bit weird getting back into that routine, but I'm so ready for it... Getting back on camera and catching up with everyone will be really nice."

The news suggests that the fast-turnaround show could be back on the air as soon as next month.
