Netflix confirms second season of Tiger King
Netflix reveals that a second season of its global hit Tiger King is coming soon.

Netflix has revealed that a second season of Tiger King will be released "soon".

The docuseries became a worldwide sensation when it was released in the early days of the coronavirus pandemic last year, making household names out of the likes of Joe Exotic and Carole Baskin.

Since then there have been rumours of a follow-up, albeit nothing concrete - but now, the programme page for the show on Netflix notes that season two is "coming soon".

In the 18 months following the show's release, Exotic in particular has had an eventful time, having unsuccessfully petitioned Donald Trump for release from jail, suffered a marriage break-up and getting diagnosed with cancer.

Baskin, meanwhile, was granted ownership of Exotic's former zoo by a judge - although she has previously ruled out being part of any future Tiger King follow-up.
