Sussex Police confirm that Katie Price has been formally charged following her car crash on Tuesday morning.

Sussex Police have confirmed that Katie Price has been formally charged following her arrest on Tuesday morning.

The 43-year-old was taken in by officers at around 6.30am yesterday after crashing her vehicle on the B2135 near Partridge Green.

In addition to driving while still banned, Price is also said to have been over the legal limit for drink and drugs - and in a statement later in the day, Price's family revealed that she has been suffering with her mental health lately.

In a statement this morning, Sussex Police said: "Katie Price, 43, of Worthing Road, Horsham, was charged with using a motor vehicle on a public place without third party insurance and driving whilst disqualified.

"She was remanded in custody and will appear at Crawley Remand Court on Wednesday (September 29)."

Price has been banned from driving six times for multiple offences over the last decade.
