Nemo of Sweden is named the winner in an audience poll at the first rehearsal of the Eurovision Song Contest final.

Switzerland triumphed in a flash audience poll at last night's rehearsal for the Eurovision Song Contest grand final.

Heading into tonight at the Malmo Arena, Croatia and Baby Lasagna lead the way as far as the bookies are concerned, with Israel's Eden Golan in second and Swiss entry Nemo in third.

Rehearsals for the final began yesterday afternoon and an audience poll of 3,295 people in the crowd named Nemo their favourite artist with 21.7% of the vote for their song 'The Code'.

Croatia were second with 19.3%, followed by Joost Klein of the Netherlands - now banned from the contest - with 8.5%.

Olly Alexander, representing the United Kingdom, finished in a respectable 12th place out of 26 with 2.4%.

The grand final of the Eurovision Song Contest begins tonight at 8pm UK/9pm CET.
