Brendan Cole and Brendyn Hatfield reportedly encounter an awkward problem as they rehearse for this weekend's Dancing On Ice.

Brendan Cole and his new partner Brendyn Hatfield have reportedly encountered an awkward problem as they prepare for this weekend's Dancing On Ice.

Former Strictly star Cole is temporarily being paired up with a male professional while his usual partner, Vanessa Bauer, recovers from coronavirus.

The couple are said to be working flat out to impress with a particularly physical routine on Sunday, but according to The Sun, their desire to include lifts as part of the performance has led to some unexpected obstacles.

"Brendan and Brendyn have been navigating their way through the lifts but their privates got in the way," a source told the newspaper.

"The duo have persevered and are doing lifts in their routine but these have been tricky to do.

"They have both been determined to put on a great show on Sunday and have been having a laugh working out the niggly bits like who is leading who.

"They have formed quite a partnership and are putting in extra time to make it a performance to remember."

Dancing On Ice airs Sunday at 6pm on ITV.
